Exchange offer on Flipkart: Upto 16K off on Iphone 5S.

Hello readers, This is my post after a long gap about an Exchange offer notification I received.

I just received a notification on my phone that you can get Iphone 5S as cheap as ₹ 2000/- (two thousand INR) on Flipkart. So I found its interesting and immediately opened Flipkart to find exchange price on my current model. Here are my findings.

1. Authenticated the received notification: Its true about the notification. There is an off on exhange upto ₹16,000.

2. Exchange Iphone 5S for IPhone 5S:

Lets see how much discount can be availed on exchange of Iphone 5S. (Lets replace already exisiting Iphone 5S with a new one 😉 ). Oops.. ₹4500 only. Its a bad deal.

3. Exchange IPhone 6S Plus for Iphone 5S:

Lets see selection of which phone model gives us this IPhone 5S for ₹2000 or atleast less than ₹5000. Lets try with Apple brand with top model available from list which is Iphone 6S Plus. Uhum! Seems this is not near to our value.

Cost of IPhone 6S Plus being ₹50,000, paying ₹5300 extra for 5S seems not a good deal :p. We can get a better price if sold on OLX.

4. Exchange of other models:

I have tried other Brands and model combinations as well. So I picked Google Pixel to be exchanged for IPhone 5S :p . Finally I saw a net price of around ₹2000. So you need to put an exchange of latest trending phone in market which is about 3 times the price to get IPhone 5S.
